Putrajaya Putrajaya Putrajaya

After a long week Aidilfitri Break, Putrajaya once again is bustling with the sound of activities.

Work resume, business is as usual and school reopens.

Believe it or not some cafeteria in the government complexes is still not open for business
even though it is now the 10th day of hari raya.

Makes me wonder...

What is business???

Why let down customer expectation???

Are the cafeteria operator content with the profit earn during ramadhan??? if i am not mistaken during ramadhan the cafeteria business is also closed.

If the busineses is run in kampung i wont mind at all but in Putrajaya!!! common this is a city and the pulse of a city is through monetary activities.

Writing About Putrajaya

Selamat hari raya aidilftri to all visitor of this blog.

Despite all the articles that i published in this blog site i still have not come out with the right concept for this blog site.

Therefor i would really welcome any sort of comments and ideas that can be used to reshape and re energized this blog site.

anyway..aidilfitri is just aound the corner and with a new mosque (Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque) now fully functional it will be pleasing to see the jemaah that perform the aidilfitri prayer will consist mostly Malaysian instead of a foreigner.

This is our city and our responsibility to preserve its uniqueness.

Is Pekan Another Putrajaya IN THE MAKING

Pekan is famously known for two things.

1. The second Prime Minister is from Pekan

2. The sixth Prime Minister also originated from Pekan.

I had an oppurtunity to be in Pekan yesterday and i was astound by the rapid growth of this small township.

If you have a chance to be in Pekan you will not only greeted by the sound of Pilings and heavy machinery but also the vast motor vehicles cruising along the Pekan motorways.

Deep in my heart i can only imagined Pekan will be the NEXT PUTRAJAYA IN THE MAKING.

We shall see...

Putrajaya Housing Project 2009

Looking to own a house in Putrajaya?

It wont be that easy since the price of property here in Putrajaya has sky rocketed around RM300-RM400k.

Take for an example of the Danau Ayu Town House located at Precint 16.

In 2003 the price of the property was around RM200K now merely 6 years later the price can reach up to RM300k.

The appreciation value of the property in Putrajaya is appalling.

Any new housing development?

Yes there is but the new development that is rapidly in progressing are those housing project meant for the government staff (government quarters).

Frustrated?

Welll dont be, because I will update this blog as frequent as possible once i got any new info about the latest housing project in Putrajaya....

In the meantime you can click on the link to the right of this page under mudah or iproperty and look for key in Putrajaya as keyword to find out any property that have been put up for sale.

Parking Issues in Putrajaya

Public Parking is a major problem in Putrajaya.

Reason being that there is not enough open space in Putrajaya where public can park their car.

Everyday public come to Putrajaya just to do business with the government.

So far no concrete solution have been found in solving the problem and the only soultion so far is to park at the side of the road only to have their car fined by the police.

Enforcement is also another problem that need to be look into by the respective authorities...

Putrajaya Trafic Lights

A word of caution to all commuters commuting around Putrajaya after 11PM.

A few traffic lights around Putrajaya main junction is programmed to blink amber lights (not red or green lights).

I still cant make any sense why the municipal authority is practicing this exercise.

Litar Detona Putrajaya

The famous Sultan Salehuddin Abdul Aziz roundabout aka Daytona Putrajaya is well a known place for the Putrajayan.

Please avoid the traffic around 8:00am and 5:00 pm (waktu masuk dan keluar pejabat).

That is the time where the traffic goes CRAZY.

If you want to witnessed amateur speedster then do come and witness for yourself the self proclaimed Road Warrior of Putrajaya at this infamous roundabout.

Its a shame when people dont have the respect for traffic laws and regulation.

It makes me wonder, why are we building first class facilities like Putrajaya for people who doesnt have a first class mentality???

To be continued...

DINING AT PURAJAYA

For all you food lovers out there, the only place that i think is worth to dine in is at Putrajaya is either the Putrajaya Lake Club or Putrajaya Seafood.

The prefered choice will be at Putrajaya Lake Club since the price of food offered is reasonable compared to Putrajaya Seafood where the price is slightly more expensive.

If you do not mind about the taste of foods then i will suggest you go to Tun Teja Foodcourt located at Precint 9.

Tun Teja food court offers quite a variety of food BUT the taste of the food is something like a 2.5 out of 5 star rating.

Yesterday the famous Putrajaya roundabout was decorated with Malaysian and Thailand National Flag.

This was in accordance to the official visit by Thailand Prime Meinister His Excellency Mr
Abhisit Vejjajiva.

As usual when ever a head of state come to Putrajaya for an official visit, numerous motorcade can be seen cruising alongside the Putrajaya Boulevard.
